PVC Pipe Cutters & PPR Pipe Welders

Plastic pipe cutters (32–63 mm) for a clean cut on PVC, PPR, PE, PP and PEX — and gas-powered PPR socket fusion welders (20–32 mm) for a leak-free joint in the field. Built for distributors, plumbers' merchants and importers.

A PVC/PPR pipe tool exists to solve two problems that ruin an installation: a pipe cut that cracks or shatters at the wall, and a fusion joint that looks welded but weeps under pressure. Both come from using the wrong tool for plastic. A saw teeth the pipe and leaves a burr; a cold or unevenly heated socket joint never fully fuses. The ratchet plastic pipe cutter and the socket fusion welder are the two tools a plumbing wholesaler needs to sell the whole plastic-pipe job correctly.
We manufacture this range in Yuyao, Zhejiang and supply distributors, plumbers' merchants and private-label brands worldwide. The collection below covers the two groups: ratchet plastic pipe cutters from 32 mm to 63 mm, and gas-powered PPR socket fusion welders for 20–32 mm pipe — built so a contractor cuts and joins PPR, PVC, PE, PP and PEX from one supplier.

What a professional PVC/PPR pipe tool is judged on

Buyers who specify pipe tools for plumbing and irrigation judge them on five things, and price comes after all five:
  • A clean cut, not a cracked one. A ratchet cutter scores and shears the pipe in one controlled squeeze; a saw or a blunt wheel leaves a ragged edge that jams in a fitting. The cut must be square and burr-free so the pipe seats fully in the socket.
  • The right diameter for the pipe you install. A 32 mm cutter is the wrong tool for a 63 mm soil stack, and a 63 mm frame is clumsy on a 20 mm service pipe. The range must bracket the pipe sizes your market actually sells.
  • Blade quality and replaceability. The blade does the cutting; once it dulls, the cut tears. A replaceable high-carbon steel blade keeps the tool useful for years instead of one season.
  • For welders: heat and time you can trust. PPR fuses properly only in a narrow temperature band (around 260–280°C). A welder that cannot hold temperature — or takes ten minutes to get there — produces weak joints. Heating time and temperature stability matter more than the wattage sticker.
  • Build for site and field. Plastic jobs happen in trenches, on roofs and in plant rooms. The body must survive drops and damp, and a gas welder must light where there is no power.
Each group below is built to these criteria, and each is available in the diameter, blade and branding your market already sells.

The two groups in this collection

1. Ratchet plastic pipe cutters — 32 / 36 / 42 / 63 mm

The ratchet pipe cutter is the correct tool for plastic pipe: a ratchet mechanism locks the handles and multiplies hand force so the blade scores the pipe evenly and shears through it in one smooth stroke, with no cracking and no burr. Our range runs from a 32 mm portable cutter for thin-wall PVC-U, through 36 mm and 42 mm labor-saving and professional models (the 42 mm covers 3–42 mm, 1/8" to 1-5/8"), up to a 63 mm automatic heavy-duty ratchet for soil and waste pipe. Blades are high-carbon steel or stainless iron with a Teflon surface treatment and are replaceable; bodies are high-impact ABS with rubber grip or aluminium alloy with TPR, depending on the model.
All of them cut PVC, PPR, PE, PP and PEX; the larger ratchet frames also handle ABS and the thicker-wall pipe used in drainage. The 32 mm portable is aimed at softer PVC/PVC-U that a heavy ratchet would deform, while the 63 mm automatic is built for the high force a 2-1/2" pipe needs.

2. Gas-powered PPR socket fusion welders — 20 / 25 / 32 mm

For joining PPR (polypropylene random copolymer) pipe, the socket fusion welder heats a male and female die head to the fusion temperature and the pipe and fitting are pushed on, held, then joined to form one continuous, leak-free length. Our gas-powered socket fusion welder reaches 280°C in about 3 minutes 30 seconds — roughly 30% faster than the lithium-battery versions we tested — using a cassette butane/propane canister, so it works where there is no power: in wetlands, on rooftops, in trenches and on emergency repairs. The main unit is PA6 + TPR, the die heads are aluminium die-cast, and the set covers 20 / 25 / 32 mm pipe (3/4", 1" and 1-1/4"). At 1.4 kW and 1385 g bare, it is a field tool first and a bench tool second.

Built for distributor and private-label buying

  • One family, many SKUs. Mix 32 / 36 / 42 / 63 mm cutters and the gas PPR welder in a single order so your plastic-pipe wall is complete from one supplier.
  • Blades and die heads supplied or specified. We confirm the blade type and die-head sizes against the pipe you sell before production, so the tool arrives ready to cut or weld.
  • Brand-ready. Custom body colour, logo, laser marking on the tool, blow-mould case printing and packaging; OEM and ODM specification development supported.
  • Mixed orders. Combine PVC/PPR tools with our oil cans, flaring tools, drain augers and rivet nut tools to build a full plumbing assortment from one factory.

Frequently asked questions

What size PVC pipe cutter do I need?
Match the cutter to the largest pipe you cut most. For service and supply pipe up to 42 mm (1-5/8") a 42 mm labor-saving or professional cutter covers PVC, PPR, PE and PEX. For 63 mm (2-1/2") soil and waste pipe, use the 63 mm automatic heavy-duty ratchet frame. For thin-wall PVC-U that a heavy ratchet would deform, the 32 mm portable is the right tool.
Can one cutter handle PVC, PPR, PE and PEX?
Yes. The ratchet plastic pipe cutters cut PVC, PPR, PE, PP and PEX; the 63 mm frame also handles ABS and thicker-wall drainage pipe. The blade must be kept sharp — all our cutters use replaceable blades so the cut stays clean.
Electric or gas PPR pipe welder — which should I stock?
For a workshop or where power is reliable, an electric socket fusion welder is the standard choice. For field work, rooftops, trenches, wetlands and emergency repair where there is no power, the gas-powered welder is the better tool — ours reaches 280°C in about 3 min 30 s on a butane/propane cassette. Many distributors stock both.
What pipe sizes do your PPR welders join?
The gas socket fusion welder covers 20 / 25 / 32 mm pipe (3/4", 1" and 1-1/4") with aluminium die-cast heads. Tell us the diameters your market sells and we confirm the die-head set; larger electric models are available on request.
Why does heating time matter for a PPR joint?
PPR fuses properly only in a narrow temperature band around 260–280°C. A welder that cannot reach temperature quickly — or that drifts while you work — produces a joint that looks welded but never fully fuses and weeps later. Our gas welder reaches 280°C in roughly 3 min 30 s and holds it through the joint.
Are the blades replaceable?
Yes — every cutter uses a replaceable blade (high-carbon steel or stainless iron with a Teflon surface). A dull blade tears the pipe instead of shearing it, so replaceable blades keep the tool useful for years rather than one season.
Do you supply pipe tools with other plumbing tools in one order?
Yes. The PVC/PPR range pairs naturally with our oil cans, flaring tools, drain augers and rivet nut tools, so a plumbing wholesaler can build a full assortment from one supplier and one shipment.
Can you do OEM / private label and custom packaging?
Yes — custom body colour, logo, laser marking, blow-mould case and packaging are available, and we confirm samples against your specification before production. ODM specification development is also supported.
What is the MOQ?
Small-batch customisation is supported; the minimum differs by model and finish. Tell us the models and quantity and we confirm the MOQ and lead time.
